Another bucket list shot for me.

This is the sun rising behind the Angels Gate Lighthouse, one of two lighthouses that mark the entrances to L.A. Harbor. I've been wanting to get this shot for about a year now. FYI, alignments like this can be found using apps like Planit! or The Photographers Ephemeris.

I adjust the processing slightly if I know an image is going to be printed. I'll also make some test prints for quality control. I'll let you know when it's available. Thanks again.

It's just perfect.

I had a hell of a time getting up that morning. I made it there with about five minutes to spare. I love leaving home at O-dark-thirty! LOL!

Also, this was the first time I drove the freeway at night since my cataract surgery three weeks ago. Yikes!

I felt the water was just as important as the sky in this photo. I boosted the saturation in the foreground just a tiny bit to bring out some of the red in the reflection.

I see what you mean about some of the red in the reflection.
The streaks of light are what caught my eye.
