(5,410 posts)Sonny is one of our retired boarders. He knows he can get Shadow barking at him just by looking at her through the fence. She'll take a run at the fence, he'll take a couple steps toward her, all the while she's getting herself all worked up barking at him.
We don't like Shadow to bark at the horses, to get them all riled up, but it's like she can't help it. So we raise our voices calling for her to come to us and eventually she does; nonetheless, Sonny and Shadow love to annoy each other.
Thank You!

And MLAA beat me to it with wondering if he gets along with Shadow.

(12,482 posts)in the neighborhood. One of the horses recognized me because I used to visit him every day. He would try to drag me into his stall and would stop when I told him to let go. Once when he was in an outdoor pen he saw me and got a big smile. Then he started running in circles and kicking his feet. He's since been sold.

(12,482 posts)I'd be happy if he went to a place where he had more space to run around. He's a free spirit.
