Ok, so it's not like I don't already watch WAY TOO MUCH telly--there's list posted around here somewhere...I've started dvr'ing Smallville. I always wanted to watch it, cuz the previews looked good, but could never fit it in. So now I'm dvr'ing 2 episodes a day.
Gawd, I'm pathetic.
Is there a 12 step program for tv addicts?

(41,832 posts)Maybe they will have a show like "Hoarders", only it will be for people hoarding tv recordings.
Or how about Dr. Drew? "Television Rehab"

(20,043 posts)the first step is admitting there's a problem.
The show Hoarders did have a person that hoarded recordings. They had something like 8 tv's all with VCR's and all they did was record shows. Their house was filled with VHS tapes. I've never seen anything like it.
I have trouble sleeping so I do watch a lot of tv...in between reading.
I think you may have a goldmine on your hands with "Television Rehab" I'd start shopping that while reality tv is hot.

(20,043 posts)that's how I started watching a lot of tv. I have 3 dvrs--I only use two and the second one doesn't have much on it. I use On Demand a lot too--cuts down on the DVR amount.

(4,851 posts)the ondemand function really just uploads the show to your dvr so you can watch it.
