Ted Lasso

If you haven't started this, start it tonight. It's on apple tv+.

It's in season 2, and I would suggest that they just renew this series indefinitely.

This is the best TV show in the history of TV shows.

The casting is superb.

The acting is stupendous. Even bit parts by a character on screen in one episode for a few minutes are played to perfection. The comedic timing is hysterical. And this is from every character.

The main story - and the sub-stories - are creative, to the point where you marvel at how they came up with a particular story line or even a particular line of dialogue. It's brilliant.

If you don't subscribe to apple tv, then wait for the second season to finish, then sign up for a trial, watch both seasons, and then binge watch and cancel the subscription. It's a great show to binge watch, BTW.

Definitely worth the subscription. It’s like Schitt’s Creek, warm, funny and a good distraction from reality.

Brilliant... I laugh and cry. The latest episode was one of my favorites.

Apple TV+ is a new-ish service, but has really top-notch content.

I too am a huge fan of the show and wondered about how it was conceived. I found out it started with a commercial featuring a clueless American coach in the UK, and Jason Sudeikis wanted to continue the character in a TV series. You can watch the original commercial here (it's hilarious):

And a lot of tidbits about the origins of the show, and how it was cast:

Both seasons in 2 days.

The brilliance of this production is incredible.

On the surface it's just entertaining...but the final 5 episodes take a deep dive into morality, ethics, empathy and a host of other aspects of the human condition.

The decision to admit to the panic attack and open up the discussion around aspects of personal trauma is brilliant.
