(29,655 posts)CBS' summer series "Under the Dome" was a big hit in its first season but ratings fell in its second season. The network announced in August that the third season will be its last, ending on September 10.

Lost me after the start of the second season......just completely became unwatchable. Ugh.... not going to miss it at all.

(28,394 posts)I actually found it on the CBS website this morning. Thanks CBS!
Our local CBS station offered it on some alternative cable station.... and I didn't know about it.

(30,736 posts)I was getting very frustrated by some of the plotting this season. They were wrecking the show.
I think it ended the way Stephen King might have ended one of his books.

(28,394 posts)I was happy with the fates of most of the major characters and the ending left us with the potential for a "sequel" -- although I doubt there would ever be one. I was just surprised at how life went on outside the dome. I expected there to be nothing left.

The way they "chewed the scenery" they could have ate their way out of the dome. Excruciating!
At least they put us put of our "Misery"!
