BBC's production of Agatha Christie's, "And Then There Were None"

Aired in the U.S. weekend of March 13 on the cable channel Lifetime.

I thought it was excellent -- best screen adaptation ever. If you watch/stream without commercials, try to. The breaks kill pacing.

Incredible scenery, great cast, tight writing. This is 5 star TV.

And yeah, the GD commercials would break the pacing.

The original BBC series was 58 Min each episode, I wonder what they cut for commercials.

"If you liked this you might like" - "The Night Manager" coming up next month on AMC, based on the John le Carre novel. Excellent- like much of Brit TV. It's TV for adults.

Advertising is stupid enough as it is, but the extra long breaks on cable are excruciating to sit through. We saw ATTWN on DVR which helped somewhat, but there was still the continuity issue to deal with when fast forwarding.

I'm spoiled from paying for commercial-free streaming.
