We made an offer on a house. We were countered. We counter, countered with an offenr HIGHER than their counter if they would pay the closing costs. In essence, we would pay more for the house which would cover the closing costs so the net to them would be the same. They rejected us because "as good Christians, they don't pay closing costs".
