The US Senate, in a rare eruption of decisiveness and common sense, just unanimously confirmed the appointment of Diane Humetewa, the former U.S. Attorney for the District of Arizona and a member of the Hopi Tribe as a Federal District Judge. I had the pleasure of working with Diane when she was the US Attorney and highly respect her intelligence, diligence and perspective. Congratulations Judge Humetewa!
