Marana Dems will be hosting a voter registration table at Winterfest, the Lions club fundraiser for the Marana food bank. Stop by. Say hi. Help us man the table if you can. The event will be attended by folks who care about things like making sure those less fortunate than us have enough to eat, in other words, probably not too many Teabags. It starts at 10:00 A.M. And will be held in the parking lot at the Sprouts/Petco/Guitar Center at the corner of River and Oak Grove. We will have banners and I've been given 100 voter registration forms by our current county recorder who will also be our speaker at our February meeting. Please come help and wear your Bernie, Hillary or O'Mally shirts, buttons, whatever. I'm told that it encourages those who have a preference to engage us and discourages the hate party types.
