Former Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer: Trump 'delivering the goods' with refugee ban

Former Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer defended President Donald Trump's executive order on refugees, saying on a national political TV show on Sunday that it is "perfectly fine."

Trump's executive order temporarily suspends the entry of all refugees to the U.S. for four months, while halting admission of refugees from Syria indefinitely, and for three months refugees from six other predominantly Muslim countries.

Late Saturday, a federal judge issued an emergency order to stop the deportation of those from the Muslim-majority countries that were being held at U.S. airports, but Trump's administration said the judge's order would have a limited effect on the overall executive order.

The order was widely condemned by Democrats, civil-liberties and humanitarian groups, and throngs of demonstrators gathered at airports across the U.S. in protest.
