Maricopa nurse practitioner's license suspended following sex misconduct allegations
MARICOPA The Arizona State Board of Nursing summarily suspended a Maricopa family nurse practitioners license in response to allegations of sexual misconduct by a woman.
The woman filed a police report with the city of Maricopa in early November against Sultan Youssef Ayoub and later spoke with the Arizona State Board of Nursing staff about the incident.
Ayoub was briefly interviewed by Maricopa police but obtained counsel and invoked his right to remain silent before the matter came before the board. Police have or are in the process of referring the matter to county prosecutors for consideration of prosecution, according to the boards documentation of the incident.
According to the boards documentation, Ayoub denied any sexual misconduct during an interview on Dec. 13.
