Arizona Governor Ducey signs bill to preempt federal gun laws
Instead of governing, Ducey's running for his next office. He's pandering to the gun nuts and the anti-maskers.
![]() PHOENIX — Arizona Gov. Doug Ducey has signed legislation that aims to prohibit police and sheriffs from enforcing federal gun laws that violate the 2nd Amendment.
Backers say the bill signed Tuesday would ensure that the rights of gun owners are protected from what they say is the potential for overreach by President Joe Biden’s administration. Critics say it will undermine the rule of law and discourage law enforcement officers from enforcing federal gun laws to protect the public. They also say it’s an unconstitutional measure that will cost taxpayers to defend in court. https://www.abc15.com/news/state/arizona-governor-doug-ducey-signs-bill-to-preempt-federal-gun-laws

7. Federal Marijuana Law Supersedes State Marijuana Laws
It's simply not enforced, as it's obvious it will soon be repealed.

4. I think either Senate or President
His recent behavior seems like he's showboating for a future Senate or Presidential run.

5. Then AZ towns/cities can preempt state laws.
Then AZ towns/cities can preempt state laws.
He would have to support that... right? |
