Candidate for Arizona House District 4 update

On Friday, I will be setting up my campaign business account at Vantage West Federal Credit Union here in Tucson. Then I will activate my Act Blue account.

I am running against a well funded, well connected Republican in a district that is 56% Democratic. He is a freshman.

I am asking all I know, whether you support my positions or not, to help me make sure this man is not re-elected next year.

I am looking for help both financially in contributions and in help with logistics, like setting up my website (something I have no talent or ability in doing).

Together, we can work to overturn Republican craziness here in Arizona, and in the country, as each journey starts with the single step. As important nationally as Arizona is as a swing state, more Democrats in Phoenix mean a deeper bench for statewide and national offices (House, Senate, etc).

I appreciate your help and understand what I am asking. If you have questions about my platform, please do not hesitate to ask me.

Let's put a social studies teacher into Phoenix, and see where it goes politically.

At what point in your "campaign" do you show the world your name and likeness?

The stealth posting(s) are getting more suspicious by the day.

You want money? Show your face, name and bio. EVERY OTHER candidate in America does that as a minimum.

Go look please.

The fact that you didn't see it means I didn't do it.

In fact, here is my petition. I already posted this twice too.

And I'm sure many others here do not as well....

But as a new poster on this site, you are obligated to introduce yourself.
Especially since you're asking for donations.

I'm busy with final exams for my students.

I did send you a private message on here on March 28th.

Here is the contents:

> My name is Aram Katz.
>
> I will be living in Sells, AZ in June. I am a middle school social studies teacher at Baboquivari Middle School since October when I came back to the US after being overseas working on research and ground work for PhD.
>
> What other personal information do you want? I will be happy to oblige privately, not publicly in a public forum. If you want my Campaign facebook, I will provide as well.

I have done my job to answer. I even sent you a private message. What more do you want, sir?

I'm asking for the same thing that EVERY OTHER CANDIDATE in America does.

Set up your website BEFORE asking for donations.

Hope you have found or will find good mentorship and strategic support.

We need good people to run and to challenge every Republican incumbent. Learning the ropes will be a big help.

Good luck!

a financial wizard, and a former university professor of communications, and one in political science.

I couldn't survive without them.

I'm very glad to hear it.

The concerns expressed earlier by a poster struck me as a bit hard on a newbie.

But I realized you've taken on the kind of challenge that needs you to be on your mettle and his approach may actually help you in the long run. It probably won't be the last time you meet that kind of pushback.

Plus, the point being made was probably a reasonable one.

I certainly wish you well in this challenging adventure.
