I just wanted to make sure to get the copyright thing right.

He was seen about 30 min from where I live. The police have road blocks along the main roads.

unless you know who they are.

Keep your phone with you.

Last year a vicious and armed prisoner escaped from a prison about 20 miles from here
and was seen in my area. We got an alert like you did.

It was scary.

The police did catch him a few days later.

Evidently his murders were random car jacking. He's a scary dude. I've got my doors locked and probably won't be able to sleep tonight.

Not the best feeling with this kind of news.

I was especially worried about a neighbor who is a nurse practitioner and works late.

So I texted her at the clinic where she was working to alert her.
And told her I would wait up for her to watch her go into her house.
She said she would be OK; she was warned and cautious.

But all of our worry was for nothing, the guy was just passing through our area
and did not bother anyone.

I think you should be fine.

If this guy is on foot, he is going to steal a car and get away as fast as he can.
Hanging around is not smart.

They note he purchased camping gear. There is alot of wilderness north of where he was last seen.

He'll have to come out for food and water and that's when I'm afraid he'll hurt someone else. His background is frightening.

He is not going to stick around a populated area where he can be seen.

Perhaps he thinks he can live off the land and will not need to come back into
town for food and water.

He seems to like to get out of the state where he has committed a crime
and enter another state. I assume that might be his plan.

Yes I agree reading his list of crimes, he is dangerous.

But headed out of town. Into the woods.

Serial killers generally don't commit vehicular homicide and put more effort into covering their tracks.

The article says some of the victims were found dead inside a business.
Then mentioned vehicle deaths.

So is he killing all his victims with his car, and then moving the bodies?
Or only some are killed by car.

Yes spree killer might be the correct term.
This means there is no cooling off period like with a serial killer.

. . . corrected a reporter who referred to him as a "serial killer." Harrelson's character said "Technically, 'spree killer'."
