Related: About this forumDon't be surprised if some men would raise the issue of "three women at the top."
Back in the 90s, Kathleen Brown was running for governor.
I was present at a luncheon meeting where she was talking. At Orange County, no less.
And a man sitting next to me commented that, we already had two women senators so now we would have three women as the top leaders of the state?
And I could only look at him and responded that he'd never had problems when all the representatives: president and governor, senators and members of congress were, well... men.

(23,156 posts)I think that all future Supreme Court nominees should be women, until we have 9 women, and then let's keep it all female for as long as the court was all male.

(23,156 posts)I'll admit, I was slightly disappointed that Obama named a man for this latest vacancy.
Of course, what we definitely need are a lot more women in Congress. Each house should be at least half women. We have a very long way to go.

Of course, there's plenty of them!
