CA to separate from the US on the ballot. Just heard this on Chris Mathews.

I seem to recall that the person who started all of this is partially Russian and lives in NY and only lived in CA for a short time. What a joke. It would be nice if the blue states weren't subjected to the BS that the red states vote for but it doesn't work that way. Most of the Californians I know believe Florida and Texas should secede instead.

Blue states not having to put up with the bullshit that red states pass. We have an upside down democracy in which the minority determines the rules, the worst in our human nature is what propels success, and the most despicable people are elected as our representatives. I pin the responsibility for this sorry state of affairs squarely on republicans. Their ideas and values are absolutely bankrupt. They no longer pretend to have any plans for helping anyone who isn't wealthy.

It may seem impossible for California and other blue states to secede but if republicans continue to have their way, it will be inevitable.
