New California strives to be 51st state

MARYSVILLE, CA (RNN) – The founders of the New California movement “declared independence” from the current state Monday in a bid to separate the rural and urban counties.

Robert Paul Preston and Tom Reed, the founders of the movement which launched in 2016, describe California in its current form as “ungovernable.”

They read their own version of a declaration of independence in Marysville, CA, Monday in a bid to eventually form their own state.

“High taxes, education, you name it, and we’re rated around 48th or 50th from a business climate and standpoint in California,” Preston told KOVR.

They have been fostering division and hatred in America for some time.
This benefits them in their quest for power and money.

Soooooo... Russia.

Looking forward to a little Russian Roulette on Russia.

This is our Darkest Hour. The rage I feel about this betrayal of my nation is enormous. I'll spend the rest of my life seeking justice and retribution for what's been done to us by enemies both foreign and domestic.

collections of stickers on the back of vehicles. Those Northern California libertarians love their bumper stickers.

Hell, some are more interesting to read than a Dr. Bronner's Pure-Castile Liquid Soap label (note: I was accosted by an asshole libertarian during one of their local rallies for taking this photo from a public sidewalk):

but no desire to do so.
Do you know anything about that?

Eastern Wa. has floated that idea also, very conservative area, as is N. Idaho.

which was established into the document when Texas was admitted to the US in 1845. The boundaries of Texas extended beyond the line established in the Missouri Compromise so the intention was that regions could be split off and be considered as free states without slaves.

While the idea of splitting into multiple states occasionally resurfaces there isn't any effort to do so.
