2 inches of rain in places (a lot for a desert climate), snow in the mountains and likely coastal flooding and erosion. But we really need the rain to reduce our fire risk and keep our trees and wildlife alive so glad to see this.

most of it will be runoff (damn). Be careful...first real rain means oil on the freeways.
