I've been checking the CA/NV quake map and in the last few weeks I noticed that the San Jacinto fault zone seems to be loading up, where the main San Andreas fault cuts through the San Berdino Mountains, along with many other fault zones that parallel the San Andreas fault.

I was thinking that a spike in activity on smaller parrallel fault zones indicate stress on the the major (San Andreas) fault.

There is nothing more riskier for a geoscientist than a quake perdiction. This should be intresting.

Kate Hutton, staff seismologist with the California Institute of Technology more or less discounted the whole story, "I don’t think it's likely at all".

Pakalertpress seems to be a survivalist publication geared to fanning the flames of the perpetually terrorized.

That site does have its share of "off the wall" articles, doesn't it?
Thanks for directing my attention to it.....z
