Are any of you Californians waiting MONTHS to get unemployment benefits?

A relative received an ID verification request around January 10 after receiving benefits for several months, my relative completed the request and is qualified for benefits and still has not received any since December.

Is owed around $6000 at this point.

I read articles that this is happening to many others, but it seems SO LONG that I wondered if this person did something wrong.

Anyone else experiencing this?

Goes online to UI whatever and certifies every two weeks, but no money.

2. They need to call and speak with an EDD agent.

My daughter was in a similar situation. We finally called - spent 30+ minutes on hold - and an agent was able to clear up the hang up. She got back benefits paid that day.

3. Thanks, can you tell me the phone # they used? This person has tried

that and cant get a human on the line.
