the Newsom camp, sitting on a big war chest with a month to go, began spending on ads and the oppo on Elder is part of it.

They've also released ads about how republicans have already said they against mask and vaccine mandates and because of that California will be the next covid hot spot like Texas and Florida.

Look for more, and don't count Newsom out.
