Obama to Boulder

Channel 7 saying Obama had to cancel the Springs visit but will be in Boulder on Thursday. I can't imagine how he could leave the coast during this incredible storm but if he comes we'll do all we can to have a big crowd of support.

No offense to any DU'ers located in the Springs. Actually I think he may have won over some independents in the Springs with his response to the fire this summer.

I got my ticket yesterday for the Springs event before they canceled today. I'm bummed out but I'm also glad the Prez is doing the right thing. Hey, Bill Maher packs a full house when he comes here and so does the Prez. The righties here are just louder than we are. I blame it on all the religious retreats here, especially Focus on the Family. Yuck.

No wonder Mr Obama is visiting Boulder instead. I would, too.

But I'd much rather see our President putting on a strong display of hands-on leadership during Sandy's landfall.

America needs him this week, more than at any other time during his presidency.
