That runs between Debeque and Rifle...The number of gas wells visible from the highway is sickening...Most if not all fracked,of course.
When we lived in Glenwood Springs,my wife worked as office admin.for one of the 2 oil/gascos based,regionally,out of Parachute.Occasionally on a slow day,a crew would take her out to a site where they were fracking.She'd describe feeling the ground shake and tremble and awful,sickening odors.From that,and from hearing in office chatter,she was convinced,in '05-'06,fracking was not good for anyone but the gascos...
