Nancy Pelosi coming to Hartford to keynote Connecticut Democrats' dinner

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi will visit Hartford next month to give the keynote speech at Connecticut Democrats’ annual fundraising dinner.

The newly renamed John Bailey Dinner will be held June 21 at the Connecticut Convention Center. Nancy DiNardo, the former state Democratic chairwoman, will be honored.

“It will be a night of Nancys,” said a third Nancy, former Lt. Gov. Nancy Wyman, who is the current state Democratic chairman. “We are thrilled that the speaker will be attending and proud to be honoring a former leader of the state party who has done so much for Connecticut Democrats.”

Tickets start at $200. For $1,000 attendees will be admitted to a VIP reception with Pelosi. There’s an additional cost to sit at the same table as a member of Connecticut’s congressional delegation.

1. She seems to be doing quite a bit of this

she'll be in Minneapolis this Friday for the annual Humphrey-Mondale dinner and I know I've recently read of her speaking at other state party's big dinners.
