Lamont Administration Announces Raises for State Managers

Citing difficulty attracting and retaining qualified managerial candidates, Gov. Ned Lamont’s administration announced raises Thursday for roughly 1,700 non-unionized state workers whose pay has not kept pace with their labor-represented counterparts.

During a morning Q&A session with reporters, budget secretary Melissa McCaw and Chief Operating Officer Josh Geballe described the compensation boosts that went into effect at the beginning of the month.
