with heavy snow (9:30-11:30a), 1/8-1/2 mile visibility, 30-40 mph gusts. Reports of downed trees/outages mounting, esp in north central Va.

My car started right up though so I’m pretty happy about that now I’m waiting for it to warm

Of course since I’ve gotten it I haven’t had to use it but it does bring peace of mind

By the way, I doubt there's an air traffic controller alive who calls that airport Reagan National. To them (and to me) it's still just National, or DCA.

I wonder if, after TFG meets his maker in Hell (which can't come a minute too soon), the current GOP will want to name everything after him?

We got a good, solid foot here. Snowfall has nearly stopped as of the time I'm posting this. Already been outside 3x to shovel and clear enough snow so we can at least get 1 vehicle out. One the snow stops we'll get out again to clear the sidewalk, driveway, and sweep off the 4WD truck we'll be using the next day or two. Also need to clean off the tops of the heat pumps.

Lost power around 10 AM and have to estimated time from Dominion as to when it will get restored.
