My kid had a lock-out yesterday. A robbery/police chase in the area and the suspects eventually took off on foot. Police caught them but I am sure it drives the kids nuts; they have to stay in their classroom. Lucky for us our schools kept parents well informed and stressed that even though the suspects were not on campus they were close enough to err on the side of precaution.
