I am asking for support of HB 231 by Rep Lori Berman that would allow family members to get a court order to have firearms taken away from a family member that they know poses a significant danger as a result of dangerous mental health and violent behavior. Bills that we hear are for college campus concealed weapons, open carry and easier access to firearms. Bills like this never get a hearing.
