The page is well run and has frequent updates. If you are a public employee you need to know what's going on because the republicans in Tallahassee are determined to shrink the middle class by privatizing everything under the Florida sun.

2. It's a shame that there's no way to separate the true civil servants,

from the public servants who have made it through a probationary period that ensures they won't challenge the status quo.

Digging in old historical files, I discovered where a City Planner was fired just for passing on a public record to another city official. Of course he sued. I think he prevailed. But he wasn't rehired. This was back in the nineties.

Some small towns weed out the good ones. I suspect that isn't fast enough for Rick Scott.
