FRANKLIN COUNTY, Fla. (WCTV) -- The Franklin County Sheriffs Office is warning local residents to be on the lookout for counterfeit $100 bills.
Deputies say the fake bills have been found being passed in both Apalachicola and Eastpoint.
The bills have Chinese writing on the back and were seized over the weekend.
FCSO is reminding residents to be extra cautious when accepting $100 bills and to call the Franklin County Sheriffs Office if you believe you've been presented with counterfeit bills.

Unless it is meant to be a clumsy diversion.
No Korea? Cuba? Almost any ME country?

(34,136 posts)3. If you look at the photo the Chinese characters are on top of the bill printing
As if they were written or stamped on in white ink. I couldn't put the photo into my OP but there is a very good photo showing both sides of the counterfeit bills.
