Gov. Ron DeSantis shakeup of the board that controls Orlando International Airport means there are four new members, including a Central Florida businessman who has a federal tax lien for owing $115,000 to the IRS.
The seven-person Greater Orlando Aviation Authority board is currently overseeing one of the nations costliest airport construction projects at nearly $3 billion.
Randall Hunt, who owns Athletic Apex Health Clubs and lives in Lake Mary, was appointed to a three-year term by DeSantis.
A search by the Sentinel revealed that Hunt owed more than $115,000 to the IRS, according to a federal tax lien notice filed in Seminole County and Hunts former Texas residence in 2016.
