I live just across the road from the lake, but must admit I mainly enjoy looking at it.

Hot, mostly dry. When it does rain, it's a typical summer afternoon thunderstorm, heavy rain, but not long, and an hour later there's no sign that it has rained. Plus, we had a relatively mild winter, so it's likely that the aquifers are a tad low.

The problem we have up here is that we spend half the year complaining about the winter, so it seems wrong somehow to then complain about the summer.

I just don't get it. But it takes a LOT for me to be cold so it never really seems cold here.
