So......I've moved to Georgia.....anyone here from Tucker?

Followed my honey who's in the movie/TV production biz.

We have a contract on a house in Tucker. I commute to the Old Fourth Ward to work.

Anything we should know before we move forward?

...and then they went on to Dolly Parton Land, TN!

They're hanging on to their New England roots, though!

They DID like it though--and found plenty of like-minded people, too.

I'm pretty far out west of Atlanta.
At risk of being presumptuous- If you are from Sedona AZ you might like the vibe in Little 5 pt, Virginia-Highland or East Atlanta village.

Hope you like Georgia!

I'm in Northeast Georgia!

This is a beautiful state. It's the largest state east of the Mississippi River. Make time to visit and explore outside of Metro Atlanta.

Football season is almost upon us. Go Dawgs!

Welcome to Georgia!

Commuting anywhere in the metro area is job in itself. Avoid peak times or just make sure you have a lot of caffeine and some good music.

Little Five-Points and the Virginia-Highlands area are very nice. Tucker is not a bad location for getting to some nice places in Atlanta.

If you like hiking, there are some great hilly trails along the Chattahoochee river that will remind you of hiking in the Smokies. It's about 20 miles or so from Tucker.

Of course, where you work has some great city walking paths too.

Welcome.
