USS Carl Vinson returns to the US after deployment
JOINT BASE PEARL HARBOR HICKAM - As the USS Carl Vinson pulled into Pearl Harbor, it was a long anticipated homecoming for some of the sailors on board.
"It feels a little surreal that they're here, I'm very emotional," said Sarah Black, a sailor on board the USS Carl Vinson
Black's family lives in Kaimuki, she joined the navy last April.
"I wanted to give back to my country and make my family proud," said Black.
