Couldn't quite figure out the way they were posting the results or whether they were claiming all votes were finished being counted. I did note that the result in D200 school board was a favorable looking one, and Milton township trustees not what I was hoping for by almost the same margins. Things that make me go "hmmmmm". Now the site is unavailable again.

Have been ever since there was a conflict of interest (imho) in the choice of new election equipment.

ETA - I was an election judge in DuPage from 1988-2008 (from punch card days to touchscreen/paper ballot scanner days) and I never trusted the "no paper trail" touch screen abominations.

I can swipe / insert my card to buy a 50 cent donut and be assured that the translation is not only secure & encrypted but can also stand up to an audit.

In many states the voting tallies from touchscreen systems are aggregated in a Microsoft Access database with no security, no audit trail and no way to prove if the tallies are valid or have been tampered with. Interestingly, those tend to be Red states.

Until we outlaw that sort of cheating (along with voter suppression efforts) we will continue to see strange election results where amazingly few traditionally Democrat demographics show up to vote.
