Robert Morris University to end Springfield campus
Robert Morris University Illinois announced Tuesday that it will not start a freshman class at the Springfield campus this September.
The closure of the Springfield campus means that students currently enrolled will have to go to the college’s Peoria location or take courses online.
Robert Morris has had a presence in Springfield for over 30 years. The current campus is off Wabash Avenue at 3101 Montvale Drive.
In addition to its main campus in Chicago and the Peoria campus, it has locations in Arlington Heights, Elgin, Orland Park and Lake County.
