In town for friend's funeral, Bill and Hillary Clinton spotted in Arlington Heights
Bill and Hillary Clinton were spotted Saturday in Arlington Heights, where they attended the funeral of a friend and later relocated to a local piano bar.
The former president and secretary of state were spotted about 11:10 a.m. going into the Metropolitan Ballroom at 6 S. Vail Ave. in the northwest suburb.
The Clintons were in town to pay their respects to Betsy Ebeling, the Sun-Times reported. Ebeling, Hillary Clinton’s first childhood school friend when they lived in Park Ridge, died July 29 at the age of 72.
The Clintons and about 150 others, including Gov. J.B. Pritzker, attended Ebeling’s memorial service Saturday at the Metropolis Ballroom in Arlington Heights.
