Iowa Senator Joni Ernst is a member of the U.S. Senate's Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee, which held recent hearings on the country's cybersecurity systems. Ernst spoke on the issue in a conference call with radio reporters late Thursday afternoon.
"This is a very timely issue," said Ernst, "Cybersecurity really is a big issue that all Americans are becoming increasingly aware of in light of recent events. We see Sony, recently, had been hacked. That really brought the light the need for cybersecurity."
The Red Oak Republican says cybersecurity is especially a concern in Iowa, because of the growth of high tech industries in the state in recent years.
"Iowa is becoming a hub for tech companies," she said. "We're hope to three large data centers: one, Google, down in Council Bluffs, Facebook in the Des Moines area, in Altoona, and Microsoft, which is located in West Des Moines. So, we do have those data hubs. We want to make sure those data hubs are secure."

Very close to nothing said senator. Just like so many of the columns you released as a state senator.
If you put sample ballots that you have been told the results you should expect into a voting machine and the voting machine gives you the same results is that a test or a demonstration? Republicans say it is a test and a valid one because they get the results they expect.(and paid for?)
