I'll have to change my voter registration at the door. No biggie. My fifth caucus (first repug) and you can disregard most of what you hear from the media. There's no leftover fucking cookies. Very little socializing. At least, not in Iowa City. My caucus is very large. Hundreds of people. We know we're making history. Iowans take this first in the nation privelege very seriously. We hear the criticisms. Some are justified. Some aren't. My point of view is, why not us??

go for uncommitted (out of about 40 people).

The uncommitted preference group didn't have a high enough percentage to earn a delegate, but it's on the record that the "vote" wasn't unanimous.

The caucus was fun!

And taking my wife, who is not yet a citizen. But she is interested in the process and she can go as an observer. For some reason, she has an intense dislike for fox noise. Hmmm...can't figure out why.

none of them know what to do.

They all talked about attending the caucus, but no one was very enthusiastic. Nor did anyone come out and endorse one candidate. A couple people did say absolutely NO! to Romney though.

I think they (repubs) are just as fucked up and confused as it looks on TV.

Wish I could attend tonight but I may be under the weather. I'm about to have laser surgery on my eye in about an hour and a half. We'll see how it goes after that.
