Does anyone know where I can buy NON GMO seed (Corn and Soybeans)?
I need to plan next years crops and need to cost out kicking Monsanto out of the loop.

2. Not unless they've been sealed up for the years since Monsanto introduced their GMO seeds
and then it will take just 1 year for that crop to be infected with the Monsanto DNA. Even in NZ, where GMO seeds were banned, the birds brought it in. There is no guaranteed non GMO grain anywhere now.
This needs to be a priority for Obama to at least stop these fukkers from further destroying the food chain. There is a reason so many people are sick with autoimmune disease now, our food is toxic. |

19. New Zealand
That is not true, it is well known that Agrisearch (it use to be called DSIR or something)- a government research and industrial development agency alongside Monsanto brought GMO seeds into NZ for research purposes and paid farmers to grow for studies back in the 80s and 90s. They had advertisements asking for land owners to join trials through local universities. I remember because they approached my family whom owned land and my father told them to bugger off.
But the rest of your post is in all probability - all too true. GMOs were banned in NZ however the government did this to appease the public. They import food from outside of NZ and do not label it despite our laws stating that it must be. Many of the members of the NZ govt are a pack of highly sought political prostitutes. |

9. I am looking to plant 50 - 120 acres. No irrigation and plant next spring. Harvest when appropriate
I can not say until know which (Corn or Soy) and then which variety to forecast the days to maturity.
Right now I am looking to sell my partner on non-GMO and to do that I have to come up with options and costs. Thanks |

11. we plant nongmo in indiana
The drought murdered us last year (we generally save seed because we've been planting the same seed since about 1960 - so heirloom and not hybrid ). Let me check with my farm manager to see if we've got enough for our acreage. I know we haven't emptied our granary yet but I don't know if we have seed quality left. We run about 250 acres of each a year, and it hasn't been in the silo long, but I don't know what we've got. I'll pm you if you think you can grow central indiana seed.

16. The Ark Institute
I get all my seed from The Ark Institute - have been for years, before the rest of the companies on this thread were even in business. They are pure, non-GMO, non-hybrid, clean seed. Their founder is one of the first to start the non-GMO fight, and I have stood with them since the '90s. Biggest, healthiest, freshest produce I've ever grown, and the highest germination I've ever heard of!
arkinstitute.com trust me, they're the only reliable source. I stake my family on it |

17. My favorite seed company - Johnny's Selected Seeds in Maine.
Seed Savers Exchange is fine - I also support the smaller companies like Victory Seeds....most of my collection is from various Seed Saver members through the years. I save much of my own seed.
