Koch family to open new kind of private school at Wichita State University

What if you could create a school from scratch consult the experts, design the space, hire the teachers and incorporate all the latest research into how children think, move, develop and learn?

What would it look like?

Annie Koch wondered.

And now she and her husband are building it.

Chase and Annie Koch, the son and daughter-in-law of Koch Industries chief Charles Koch, are getting into the private school business in Wichita, financing a new pre-K-through-12th-grade school on the campus of Wichita State University.

John Birch Society Hand book. Had this discussion in Poly Sci 201 ,not pretty. Believe this was a piece of the Voucher Legislation in Wisconsin to target Milwaukee School District by one of Wisconsin's former Governor's.

Why would any parent spend 10 grand a year on an unknown curriculum? It's depressing that the college is going along with this.

4. Another report that I read indicated that they won't have grades either.

That doesn't bode well for getting into college.

5. If they are putting a school together that doesn't have grades, it makes

 

me wonder whether one or more of their children or grandchildren doesn't do well in school. Is that possible?

6. this is why I have always been against any charters, home schooling or private schools

they are just breeding groiunds for elists, racist fucks and religious bigots
