Kevin Yoder proves he's an idiot

Kevin voted against reducing the payroll tax and then came home in time to participate in a photo op at a company adding 600 jobs in Johnson County. And he bragged about it on his Facebook page.

Congressman Kevin Yoder
It was exciting to be on hand as OptumRx, a mail order prescription drug company in Overland Park, announced 600 new jobs in the area today! We know that jobs aren't created in the government bureaucracy in DC, they are created by companies like OptumRx in Overland Park, who are rebuilding our economy through innovation:

Alan Clayton That's right, vote against a tax reduction. That'll help Obama get reelected. Atta-boy. <

Alan Clayton Loved that you voted to reject the tax plan. <

William Hoffmann So you and your party cut off the Democrats from voicing their objections over your parties lame duck attempt at playing politics over 160,000,000 citizens pay while you come home to rub elbows with donors.
You are a Putz, slacker, ingrate and a general P.O.S.
You need to do the right thing and return your pay to the American People.

Gary Bachman Congressman? Really? You flew home for this "announcement?" . . . . . . . . . . Don't you have work undone still in Washington? How much did this flight home cost US taxpayers? Or was this paid for by your campaign fund? ( Isn't it a bit premature campaigning for re-election?) I mean, well, I know that Optum RX's CEO recieved $6.3 million in compensation. Not bad. Is this really the time and place to have your hand out? . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . But wait! I forgot that your single greatest campaign contributor for the last election was a PAY DAY LOAN COMPANY! (over $47,000 for you last campaign from that company, and its owner: either directly to your campaign or through a PAC.) Your latest vote almost sounds like a conflict of interest!

Gary Bachman Seriously Congressman? Don't you have work to finish in Washington. How much did it cost US for you to fly home? Or did your re-election campaign pay for this? Isn't it perhaps unseemly, standing there with your hand out? (OptumRx's CEO had $6.3 million in compensation last year. What does someone DO with such money?)

Gary Bachman Speaking of the unseemly, it just dawned on me. (but I looked it up to be sure) Your top campaign contributor last year was a PAYDAY LOAN COMPANY. ($47,000 from the company and its owners paid directly to your campaign fund or PAC.) So doesn't your vote yesterday perhaps suggest some conflict of interest?

Tim Stalder I have voted Republican for over 30 years, enjoy your first and last term ! You have forgotten the people of your district. I am sure you will not have to worry about unemployment. Time for another to take up the cause.

James D Fisher You needed to stay in Washington DC and take care of the folks that voted you in, I sure will remember where you were while we went under.

Gregg Brown We are learning alot about ourselves in this time of economic challenge. In America we have the freedom and options to speak out and take action more than any other nation that has ever existed. While it is easy to be critical with all the bad news going on, I am going to celebrate the good news of increased employment in our area. In the spirit of the season, and in honor of His birth, I am going to give generously to my peers that are not as fortunate. And through my vocation, I am going to prepare my students for the new realities to include a good understanding of economics. What actions will you take?

Scott Gregory Golly! How did OptumRx grow with all the uncertainty, taxes and godawful gummint regulation? Answer: Those are all Repub canards, lies said over and over until they seem true. Get back to DC and vote for extension of the payroll tax "holiday."
