Economic stimulus question...

As a Kansas resident in the Wichita area I am wondering if folks have received the 2nd stimulus $600 check or card by mail...I know a lot have received the direct deposit (which I should have as I am on SS) but the IRS Payment Tool says my check/card was scheduled to be mailed on Jan 6th...this being the 12th I have seen no sign of the payment...I guess if it was sent to the wrong address or lost in the mail (or simply, never sent) I'll never see it...no way to contact the IRS directly (I tried, several times)...so I'm asking for the mail only recipients if and when they got the payment...thanks....(yes, I can really use the money for medical bills and other since I am on a very low fixed income)...

1. Just checked the IRS site about a hour ago,

zero updates. Only stating a January 6 mail date as to some letter of Notification.

2. I suggest call your bank and maybe then your accountant

Bank will give you the direct deposit info, if you don't have.

Accountant can make sure the info is in the hands of the government. It may work, even at this date.

3. Thanks, I'm not the only one then...who got the Jan 6th mailing/letter notice with nothing else yet.

I do know that SS and IRS did have my direct deposit info since I get SS monthly that way and also received the first stimulus payment that way...
