Miami County church pastor and homeless shelter CEO is charged with sexual molestation of a child
A church pastor and longtime director of a Miami County, Kan., homeless shelter has been charged with sexually molesting a child.
Jay Preston, pastor of Grace Revolution Church of the Nazarene and president and CEO of My Father’s House in Paola, was charged Monday in Miami County District Court with felony aggravated indecent liberties with a child.
According to Miami County Attorney Elizabeth Sweeney-Reeder, the charges stem from an incident in rural Miami County on July 7 or 8.
The charges say Preston, 57, engaged in “lewd fondling or touching” of a child younger than 14.
