by Joe Sonka, Louisville Courier Journal
Jenny Ditto, a staffer of former first lady Glenna Bevin, was arrested on a DUI charge in Anderson County on the day before Gov. Matt Bevin left office.
The Anderson News reported on the arrest citation for Ditto on file in Anderson District Court, which states she was charged with DUI on Dec. 8 after police spotted her driving in the wrong direction on the U.S. 127 Bypass at 2:30 a.m.
The citation alleges Ditto's blood alcohol content was twice the legal limit and that she struggled to pass various sobriety tests.
According to the newspaper, the citation shows the trooper asked Ditto why she was driving the wrong way, and she said she did not realize she was. He also noted that Ditto's speech was "very slurred."
