'Not since Oliver North secretly sold arms to Iran and provided the funds from these sales to Contra fighters in Nicaragua have we seen a National Security Council like this. Michael Flynn — a hothead and extremist whose judgement and stability led to his removal from his previous government position — was already not qualified to hold the position of National Security Advisor. Recent evidence that he lied about his conversations with Russian officials — not only to the public, but to top officials, including the Vice President — is the last straw. Mr. Flynn must go.
