'Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan said Thursday that three people from Montgomery County

have been diagnosed with coronavirus: a husband and wife in their 70s and a woman who is in her 50s.

So far, no cases have been diagnosed in Virginia or the District.

“The state’s Public Health Laboratory in Baltimore has confirmed the first three positive cases of novel coronavirus in Maryland,” Hogan said in a statement.

He said all three patients contracted the virus while traveling overseas and are “in good condition.” They are quarantined in their homes in Montgomery County, a suburb of about 1 million people just outside Washington, D.C.'>>>
