Voyage Update | Delaware Bay Bound
Just in from the ship via Iridium Communications. The ship has been on/off motor sailing & is roughly 50 nm east of New Jersey & 40 nm south of Long Island. The plan is to head for Delaware Bay tomorrow to avoid forecasted winds from the south/southwest in the second half of tomorrow.
The vessel's route, timing, & sails set are dependent on the wind & weather. Be advised that there are sometimes delays in the updating of the ship's position on free AIS-based ship-tracking websites. This simply means the ship is out of VHF range of other vessels. We will post additional updates from the ship as we have them.
