Anyone know of a nursery that specializes in roses?

Last edited Sun Apr 5, 2015, 09:57 PM - Edit history (1)

I got 2 last year and one, a 'baby, 'own root' rose, imported from Oregon, which seemed to do well before the winter, I'm not sure about now. I heard of an especially good place for roses somewhere in MD, maybe eastern shore???, and may want to check it out now.

Thanks

It is actually quite close to one of my daughters. Perhaps we'll pop in there in the next couple weeks.

Was hoping for something closer to me, in southern MD! Some nice roses there.

I've grown their roses in NE and SD. My mother grew them in VA.
They are magnificent.

It's just off Rt.100 &108. I have heard people talk about it. I have never been there but feel free to check it out.

Better yet, you could also try Frank's which is off of 108/175 in Columbia. Frank's is a great farmer's market and has a lot of plants.

Actually, I would recommend Frank's as we have bought roses there, in addition to a lot of other plants. 6686 Old Waterloo Road, Elkridge, MD

We shopped at Franks for the ten years we were in MD for the produce and garden needs.

Hope you can find what you are looking for!!
