Ride-sharing company offers rides just for women

BOSTON —A new-ride sharing startup is offering rides just for women.
It's called Chariot for Women and is the idea of a former local Uber driver.
The new company, based in Charlton, says prices would be similar to other services but without the surge pricing.
The startup announced the plan as services such as Uber come under scrutiny over safety issues.
